We
are having another exciting year after Paul's 2006 trip to Las
Vegas where he had a sellout book signing at The Reading Room,
Mandalay Bay Hotel
Paul has been very busy touring the country
and is having lots of sell-outs at the events. Check his November
and December events. He would love if you were able to drop
by and say hello.
If you would like to order books for gifts we
have a few special offers on. See Side panel. I will also gift
wrap and tag the books and send them directly to the recipient
if you wish. Just be sure to include details and message.
You can now pay by PAYPAL. Juxt click the box
next to each book OR you can
complete the order form. Remember and
enter any personalisation details. If left blank Paul will sign
and date each book. We will then get the books out to you as soon
as possible.
We will keep the web-site up
to date with book signings, literary events and talks which will
be taking place around the country and Paul will also periodically
update the video with fresh news. Isn't it great technology!
Happy reading
Best wishes
Dorothy
Below are a couple of questions
Paul is regularly asked.
'How long does it take you
to write a book?'
It varies enormously. The Tears saga
has many intricate characters and I have to carefully research
the historic detail. So with each you are looking at a year's
work. On the other hand, Débâcle and the other books
in the TIFAT files are much easier. Mainly because I am writing
about subjects on which I have intimate knowledge. So realistically
I take about fourteen weeks to write the story and about a further
month tidying it up.
'Where do you get your ideas
from?'
My problem is not lack of ideas. It's stopping them from
bubbling up all the time. I am blessed (or is it cursed?) with
a vivid imagination. So I have no difficulty in thinking up a
plot. You should try it. Find three different newspaper articles
link them together and let your imagination go. For instance,
I have written file two in the TIFAT series (The International
Force Against Terrorism) and am working on file three. File two
came about because of a series of articles I read about Israel
and America. File three was the obvious linking of terrorism,
drugs and immigrants to western Europe from the major drug producing
countries. Perspiration and persistence does the rest.
I hope you enjoy browsing the
rest of the site. I really look forward to my next book-signing
tour. It is fascinating meeting so many different people.
Please email me at henke@sol.co.uk
with any comments or feedback. Again, many thanks for your support.
Happy reading.
