On the Move

Friday, June 14, 2013

It’s that time of year when I’ll be touring bits of the UK doing book-signings at agricultural shows and similar events. I enjoy these enormously as I meet a lot of friendly people who stop and chat and peruse my books. Of course, my latest, Corruption, about the shenanigans that are going on in the European Parliament, is proving very popular!

We are on the move in another way also.  We have just put our house on the market as we’re moving as far as 50 metres up the garden! We have planning permission to build two houses. It’s quite an adventure and one that Dorothy and I are relishing.

As we’ve been looking to get rid of a lot of the stuff we’ve accumulated over the years I found a box of my first thriller, Never A Winner. It was published in the 1980s in hardback. It is a hardback and set in the Cold War when the Russians were the baddies (?!).  The hero is ex-marine Steve Barber and as you would expect there is lots of action. We’re offering it to readers at £5 plus £2.60 p&p. The book retailed at £10.00 back in the olden days!

If you are getting ready for your summer holiday and have a kindle, why not download the FREE copy of A Million Tears this weekend and please let others know also.  I had hoped to have Tears 5 ready for now but, I am sorry to disappoint, it will be another couple of months.

The sun is shining (momentarily) and it’s time to go outside and paint some more of the fence.

Enjoy the summer when, and if, it arrives.
